Change toolkit for digital building permit (CHEK) is an EU initiative on accelerating the digital transformation of the building permit process. By developing standardized procedures, CHEK aims to establish a unified building design validation process throughout Europe. The consortium is led by 19 European partners and comprises municipalities from the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal and the Czech Republic (including the Municipality of Rotterdam, Amersfoort and Den Haag, Comune Di Ascoli Piceno and Camara Municipal de Lisboa ), governmental organizations Rijkswaterstaat and international standardization organizations (Open Geospatial Consortium, buildingSMART ). Xinaps’ advanced rule engine, Verifi3D stands at the forefront of CHEK project.

Xinaps announces integration of Verifi3D with Procore, bringing advanced model checking to construction management

Delft, The Netherlands, June 22, 2023 — Xinaps, the developer of Verifi3D announced partnership with Procore Technologies Inc., a leading global provider of construction management software.

The enhanced integration brings advanced model checking to construction management.

The Verifi3D integration with the Procore platform offers construction teams a streamlined process for clash detection and building design validation. By leveraging the advanced rule-based engine of Verifi3D, users can automate clash, geometric and parametric checking, all in a browser and identify building design errors early in the project lifecycle. With this enhanced integration, users can import and synchronize building information modeling (BIM) models (.rvt and IFC) from Procore into Verifi3D with ease, thus ensuring the latest model versions are used for model checking. The results are then synchronized back to Procore, allowing project teams to easily identify and resolve clashes collaboratively, providing greater flexibility and control over the clash detection and rule-based checking process.

Verifi3D’s launch on the Procore App Marketplace will provide a dedicated clash, geometric and parametric checking solution within the Procore platform, and the first customer (US Based) is already making use of the integration.
